Cathedral World

All pieces (14 for each player) can technically fit along with the People piece on the board, however, most likely will never occur in a game though.

Cathedral World Rules Overview

Official Rules can be downloaded Rules - Cathedral World.pdf 166KB

Object is to place all your pieces on the 10 x 10 board while trying to deny your opponent from doing so. First person (usually light pieces) starts by placing People Piece anywhere on the board and then dark places a building on the board and turns alternate. Here's some quick overview of the rules.

Light player encloses an area by touching wall to wall. Dark player cannot place a piece in the 7 squares owned by Light player. Once a player captures territory don't play a building in there until the end of the game.

Corner to corner is NOT a enclosed area thus it's still neutral territory and either player can play in it.

People piece is not a wall and can not be used to enclose an area. Thus this is NOT enclosed and neutral territory.

Light player captures the Dark player's pyramid and removes it (can be played later in the game) since it's the only piece in the light player's enclosed area.

White cannot enclose this area and capture pieces since dark player has two pieces (pyramid, tower). The 1 square area is neutral territory.

People piece is captured by the Light player and removed from game permanently.

Dark player's tower piece is not captured since the People Piece acts as a second piece for either player. All empty spaces are neutral territory.

End of the game. Light player wins as he/she places all building pieces on the board. Dark player still has two 3 pieces and one 2 piece so he/she loses by 8 points.
