I've been playing Sea3D (settlers of catan OpenGL windows) for quite sometime. It still has better 5 or 6 player maps, Jungle and Volcano variants. For instant take the Through the Desert map. Asobrain map has one less resource hex than the 4 player map in Sea3D. In other words, it's exactly the same as the 3 player map in AsoBrain. With Sea3D I have to run WinXP in Parrelels Virtualization on my Mac. AsoBrain Catan is a java implementation so it works on all platforms in a java applet. However, AsoBrain does have bots to play against and Cities of Knights.

After I threw this page together I come to find out there already is a map browser on AsoBrain....duhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.

Basic Game you can choose 10, 13, or 15 points to win. Barbarian Ship won't appear obviously.
Cities and Knights 13, 15, or 17 points to win and the Barbarian Ship appears (as in all images below).
Cheops 10 or 12 points to win. (see bottom of page)

Cheops is a variant of a Settlers map which has Gold Nuggets and Pyramids.
