Rumis

Rumis is an abstract strategy game for 2 to 4 players. Each player has 11 identical tetris like building pieces (stones) they use to build various ancient Inca buildings. It comes with 4 different boards each with a various building plan. The table rotates so it's easy to view it at all angles when building.

Maximum Height restrictions depending on the number of players are as follows:

Building
2 players
3 players
4 players
Pirka (wall)
2
3
4
Coricancha (pyramid)
4
4
4
Pisac (stairs)

5
8
Chullpa (tower)
4
6
8

Stairs are built with each player placing one piece in turn.

Building rules:
- Stones must be within the building plan and can't extend over it.
- Must obey height restrictions
- Placing a stone on top cannot create an empty space, hole, or gap below.
- Must make a move if possible
- Once a player passes he or she may not place any more stones in the game.

Object of game is to have the most visible stones of your color at the end of the game. In the game above green scores 19 points minus 3 points for having 3 pieces left which were unplayed for a total score of 16 points. Yellow 11 points minus 3 points (had 3 pieces left over, not pictured though) for total of 8 points. Red 4 points and blue 2 points minus 3 points for -1 points.

Stairs in the first row have with a 1 maximum height restriction which means no one can build on top of it. 2nd row has a max height of 2, 3rd row max 3 height, etc. all the way up to the 8th row

End of game scoring: Green 12 points, Blue 12 points, Yellow 7 points, Red 1 point. And of course minus one point for each piece not played (not pictured).

Wall height restrictions are based on number of players.

Green 19 points, Yellow 16 points, Blue 15 points, Red 13 points
And of course minus one point for each piece not played (not pictured).

Pyramid around the perimeter (edges) the max heighth restriction is 1. As it's built inward it's 2, 3 and 4.

Although the tower looks like the simplest there is it's actually one of the most difficult with very few scoring oppurtunities. With 4 players max heighth is 8.

Yellow 7 points, Red 1 point, Green 12 points, Blue 12 points
And of course minus one point for each piece not played (not pictured).
