4 IIT and IISc, Bangalore make it to the top 50 in the QS University Asia Rankings 2016

New Delhi: Bangalore-based Indian Institute of Science (IISc) and Mumbai, Delhi, Madras and IIT Kanpur have made the list of Asia’s top 50 universities. This information is revealed in the 2016 QS World University Rankings. IISc is ranked 33 on the list this year. The institute last year into India was on top when the list ranked number 34 have been found. DU’s ranking has improved the IIT Mumbai 35th ranked IIT Delhi 36th, IIT Madras 43rd and IIT Kanpur 48th was finished. The list of Delhi University (DU) while enhancing its ranking as the 66th was achieved, which was ranked No. 91 last year. Calcutta University was ranked No. 108 in the rankings, which was ranked 149 last year. Mumbai University was ranked 145 at the Banaras Hindu University was ranked 155th. Who enjoys the status of the best in the QS university rankings last year, the (NUS) National University of Singapore gained the status of the best in Asia. Followed by the University of Hong Kong has been achieved. India’s performance in this ranking is the fifth in 17 countries. The list of India’s 23 universities, 350 institutions have made. 1The good news is that all the institutions in terms of India’s ranking has improved this year. IIT Mumbai at 11 places in the rankings compared to last year’s improvement in the rankings, while IIT Delhi has improved six places. IIT Madras, IIT Kanpur have jumped 13 places to 10th, 16 IIT Kharagpur, IIT Guwahati IIT Roorkee 14 and jumped four places.
